this looks amazing. i usually eat quinoa like "oatmeal" in the mornings with almond milk and cinammon, but this is a new take on quinoa breakfast that i'll have to try!
Mmm... that sounds yum! Quinoa is an awesome start to the day.. maybe just might do cinnamon and almond milk tomorrow, with some stewed apples! Thanks Kendra!
How do you cook the quinoa?
It is best to pre-wash your Quinoa before cooking. Use a very fine mesh strainer. You use one cup of Quinoa to 2 cups of water. It is basically the same as cooking rice. When it starts to boil, reduce heat, cover and cook for 15-18 min. I usually cook mine for 15 min. It will have little circles around the outside of the grain.
